We're excited to welcome you to our new SJV Volunteer Portal — a convenient hub for managing your participation in our school community. Here, you can sign up for volunteer opportunities, track the status of the service hours you have completed, and monitor your progress toward your service hour requirement.
To get started, we encourage you to explore the portal and take a moment to review and update your user profile to ensure all information is current. Keeping your profile up-to-date helps us match you with the right opportunities and stay connected throughout the school year.
Dashboard
The dashboard is the central page of the Volunteer Portal. From this page, you will have at your fingertips access to various areas of the portal. Explore the areas listed below.
Programs
Volunteering opportunities are organized under 6 programs: On-campus, Off-Campus/After Hours, Athletics, Parish, Alumni, and In-Kind Donations. Explore each program and the opportunities under them.

Looking for volunteering opportunities? This tab will list all volunteering opportunities and their details.
My Profile
View and update your volunteer profile! Each household member has a separate profile. You can also download your Volunteer Resume, which lists a summary of your service hours, to use for your employers’ corporate giving program. If your employer offers a Volunteer Grants program, your volunteer hours could make a greater impact on our school community. My Qualifications
To sign up for an opportunity, parents/guardians must be cleared for volunteering by completing 3 requirements: 1) Fingerprinting, 2) Signing the Adult Waiver Form, and 3) VIRTUS Safe Environment Certification of completion. Parents/guardians cannot sign up for volunteering opportunities until they have completed all 3 listed above. Please contact Kelly Johnson (kjohnson@sjvsj.org) for more information about the requirements. These documents must be submitted to Mrs. Johnson for verification. Once the required documents have been verified, these documents will be listed here.
Track Hours
Review a record of your service hours and their verification status. In this tab, you can also submit completed hours that were unrelated to a listed opportunity, have the option to download your hours record, and edit duplicate submissions.

View the opportunities you have signed up for in a calendar format with the ability to filter views based on Programs and keywords.
Opportunity Responses
View the opportunities you have signed up for in a listing format with the ability to filter views based on Program, Opportunity, Response Date, and when your shift begins
